The problem we usually find
- Copilot sees what your permissions allow. Old sharing links and overshared Teams sites become a data risk the day Copilot is switched on.
- Licences bought, habits unchanged. People try it twice, get a generic answer and go back to doing it by hand.
- No agreed rules. Nobody has said which work Copilot may help with, what must never go into a prompt and who reviews what leaves the business.
How we get Copilot ready
- Readiness check. We review sharing and permissions in SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams for your most sensitive content, and agree what to tidy before wider roll-out.
- Pick three jobs that matter. Meeting notes, first drafts of routine documents, inbox triage: the tasks that eat the most time in each role, measured today.
- Role-based training. Short, hands-on sessions using your own documents, with prompts written for each role and a shared prompt library.
- Personal set-up for leaders. Custom instructions, folder structure and writing voice, so Copilot works the way each leader works.
- A simple usage policy. What Copilot may be used for, what stays out of it, and where a person must review the output.
- Review at 30, 60 and 90 days. We compare against your baseline and decide what to extend.
What a Copilot readiness assessment covers, and what it does not
It covers what Copilot will be able to see, which jobs it should help with first, how your people are trained and the rules they follow. It does not cover buying or reselling licences, a tenant-wide security rebuild, penetration testing or legal advice. Those sit with your Microsoft partner, your IT provider or your solicitor, and we work alongside them.
- Covered: sharing and permissions review for your most sensitive content in SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
- Covered: three priority jobs per role, measured before and after.
- Covered: role-based training with your own documents, and written usage rules.
- Not covered: licence sales, Microsoft 365 tenant administration, penetration testing and legal advice.
What it costs
The first AI and Tech Stack Review is free. Copilot readiness can run as part of the AI and Copilot Discovery Day, which is £950 + VAT, fixed. Wider roll-outs and team training are quoted after the free review.
Where people stay in control
Copilot drafts; people decide. Anything that goes to a client, a regulator or a court is reviewed by a named person. Sensitive data stays inside your Microsoft 365 tenant and its existing protections.
Who this is for
Professional services firms, SMEs and teams already on Microsoft 365 who want Copilot to earn its licence cost, with governance proportionate to their size. For wider team training, see AI workshops and workforce training. It fits naturally inside a Discovery Day or a Personal FDE engagement.
Questions we are often asked
Do we need Copilot licences for everyone?
Usually not at first. Start with the roles where the three priority jobs sit, then extend once the value is clear.
How long does readiness take?
It depends on the size of your tenant and how tidy your sharing is. We agree a timeline after the free review.
Can you train our whole team?
Yes. We run role-based workshops on site in Wales or online, and help you set up internal champions to keep adoption going.
