AI consultancy and AI automation agency: what we do in Cardiff
We help owner-managed businesses, professional services firms, manufacturers, charities and public sector teams across Cardiff and the Capital Region decide where AI is worth using, then build and pilot it in the systems they already run. The advice and the build come from the same team.
- AI readiness assessment. The free AI Readiness Audit: 15 questions across strategy, data, talent, operations and governance, with a 30, 60 and 90 day plan.
- Technology stack review. The free AI Tech Stack X-Ray, then a free first consultation on the tools you already pay for, with three practical opportunities and the effort and risk of each.
- Business process automation. Connecting the systems you already use so information is captured once, with exceptions routed to a person. See AI automation for Cardiff and South Wales businesses and how we would approach invoice reconciliation.
- AI agents and custom AI solutions. Agents that draft, triage, research or answer routine questions inside clear limits. Explore our AI products and agents.
- Microsoft Copilot readiness. Permissions, role-based training and usage rules, on our Copilot readiness page.
- AI governance. Usage policies, a tool register, UK GDPR checks and human oversight. Read our security and governance approach.
- Training and hands-on delivery. AI workshops, or a Personal Forward Deployed AI Engineer working alongside your team.

What a Discovery Day includes
The Discovery Day takes one working day of your time, plus a short call and a simple questionnaire beforehand. No system access or passwords are needed to book.
- Your week, mapped. Where time goes and what gets copied between systems.
- Your systems, reviewed. What you already pay for, what overlaps and what is unused.
- Data and safety check. Where important information lives and what must stay out of AI tools.
- Opportunities ranked. Scored by value, effort and risk, with the first three agreed.
- One quick win, live. For example Copilot set up around a role, or a reusable prompt library.
- Report and 90-day roadmap. Sent within two weeks, followed by a short check-in call. Full Discovery Day details.
Evidence, not promises
InnovAItive Solutions Ltd is registered at Companies House (16186348) and was incorporated in January 2025. We were a finalist for Best Use of AI in Fintech at the Fintech Awards Wales 2026, and for Best Digital Transformation (Private Sector) at the Wales Technology Awards 2025. Our case-study library labels each page as client work, an illustrative approach or published industry research, and we publish client results only with the client's permission. Read our evidence policy.
When we are not the right fit
Saying this early saves you time and money.
- You want free, general awareness sessions. A community or publicly funded body is a better first stop for introductory AI events, and Business Wales lists current public support.
- You mainly need Microsoft licences or a tenant-wide rollout. A Microsoft partner that resells licences and manages your tenant is better placed. We help you decide what to switch on and set the rules, and we can work alongside your partner.
- You need a full-time AI team for years. If AI is your core product, an in-house hire will cost less over time. We can help you write the role and hand over to them.
- You want a build without looking at readiness first. We always start with the free review, because building on weak data or unclear rules wastes money.
- You need large-scale model training or data science research. That calls for a specialist data science firm or a university partner.

Questions we are often asked
Are you based in Cardiff?
Yes. InnovAItive Solutions Ltd is registered at Unit 15 Workbench, Neptune Court, Vanguard Way, Cardiff CF24 5PJ, and our team works from Cardiff.
What does AI consultancy in Cardiff cost?
The AI Readiness Audit and the first AI and Tech Stack Review are free. The AI and Copilot Discovery Day is a fixed £950 + VAT. Larger implementation work is scoped and quoted after the free review, so you know the cost before you commit.
Do you only work with Cardiff businesses?
No. Cardiff is home, and we work with organisations across Wales and the UK, on site or online.
Do we need technical staff to work with you?
No. We work with the people who know the process, and we handle the technical set-up with whoever looks after your systems.
How do you handle our data?
We work inside your existing systems where possible, agree what data an AI tool may see before anything is built, and keep a named person responsible for anything that reaches a client or a decision. UK GDPR obligations are checked at the start.
What is the difference between an AI consultancy and an AI automation agency?
A consultancy helps you decide what to do; an automation agency builds it. We do both, so the advice and the build come from the same team.
