Why most AI training does not stick
- Generic content. Examples from someone else's business do not survive contact with your inbox, your files or your clients.
- No permission to use it. If nobody has said what is allowed, careful people avoid AI and careless people use it anyway.
- No one owns adoption. Without a named champion and a short review, usage fades within weeks.
Workshop formats
- Leadership briefing. For directors and partners: where AI creates value in your business, where the risks sit, and the decisions only leaders can make.
- Role-based team workshop. Hands-on sessions for each team using their own documents and tools, from meeting notes and first drafts to research and reporting.
- Microsoft Copilot training. Practical Copilot skills for Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint, after a check of what Copilot can see. See Copilot readiness.
- AI champions programme. We train a small group of internal champions to support colleagues, keep the prompt library current and spot the next opportunity.
- Safe use and governance session. A clear, written AI usage policy your team helped shape: what AI may be used for, what never goes into it, and who reviews the output.
How a training engagement runs
- Free review. We learn your goals, tools and the roles that would benefit most.
- Pick the jobs. We agree three to five weekly tasks per role and how long they take today.
- Deliver hands-on sessions. On site in Wales or online, using your material, with a prompt library for each role.
- Set the rules. A short usage policy aligned with UK GDPR and your sector.
- Review and extend. We check progress against the baseline and decide what to scale.
People stay in control
Everything we teach keeps a person responsible for what leaves the business. Your team learns to use AI for drafts, summaries and analysis, and to check the output before it reaches a client, a regulator or a decision.
Who this is for
SMEs, professional services firms, charities and public bodies who want their people confident and safe with AI, not just licensed for it. Training fits on its own, after a Discovery Day, or inside a Personal FDE engagement. Not sure where to start? The free AI Readiness Audit shows where skills are the gap.
Building a Welsh AI workforce
Our longer-term ambition is to help build AI skills across Wales through graduate and apprenticeship routes with universities and colleges. Those programmes are in development and not yet available; today we deliver training directly to organisations.
Questions we are often asked
Do you train on our own systems?
Yes. Sessions use your own documents and the tools you already pay for, such as Microsoft 365 and Copilot, so skills transfer straight into daily work.
Can you train non-technical staff?
Yes. Sessions are written for people who have never used AI as well as for confident users, and grouped by role rather than by technical level.
Where do you deliver training?
On site across Wales from our Cardiff base, and online for teams anywhere in the UK.
How much does training cost?
It depends on the number of people, roles and sessions. We agree the scope and give you a fixed quote after the free review.
Is the training safe for confidential information?
We start with what your tools can see and agree written rules on what must never go into AI before anyone practises with real material.
